April is Earth Month

The initiative

HEIMPLANET Equipment is used by outdoor enthusiasts and professionals alike and encourages them to familiarize themselves with their surroundings, experience their connection to nature and ultimately become ambassadors for environmental awareness themselves.

With that in mind, we want to kick off this year's Earth Month by reaffirming our dedication to our partner 1% For The Planet. Over the Easter weekend, we will be giving not 1% but 30% while you get to choose how much you can afford to contribute. 

Earth Month is an annual period in April dedicated to promoting environmental protection and awareness of environmental issues. During this month, various events, activities and initiatives are held around the world to highlight the importance of environmental protection and encourage people to work towards a sustainable future. 

Our understanding of sustainability

As an outdoor brand, we try to find environmentally conscious solutions along the entire life cycle of our products. Starting with the raw materials used (e.g. Dyecoshell™), through the useful life of the products, which we want to maintain as long as possible through a lifetime guarantee, to the return and recycling of used items in our re-store program. 

Another important pillar of our sustainability concept is the permanent involvement of environmental protection organizations. HEIMPLANET is part of the 1% For The Planet network and is therefore committed to donating 1% of all sales to organizations that work to preserve and rebuild our natural environment. In our case, these are the Surfrider Foundation and Wilderness International.
