Trolltunga is one of Norway’s most iconic landmarks, but with our Trolltunga Classic Overnight Hike, you’ll experience it in a way few others do - thanks to our thoughtfully crafted adventure and the unmatched reliability of Heimplanet tents, built to handle the challenging conditions of Norway’s highlands while remaining lightweight and easy to set up.
This 8–12-hour hike is split into two days, giving you time to truly immerse yourself in nature. As the crowds leave Trolltunga in the late afternoon, we arrive to enjoy the golden-hour views, perfect for capturing unforgettable photos without the stress of queues. From there, it’s a short hike to our secluded camp at 1200 meters above sea level, where an evening of relaxation awaits.

At camp, you’ll enjoy a cozy dinner of homemade reindeer stew (or a vegetarian option), share stories around the campfire, and maybe even take a refreshing dip in a pristine mountain lake or visit our secret sunset rock, offering panoramic views of valleys, glaciers, and rugged peaks.
After a good night’s sleep, we bring you coffee right to your tent, so you can savor the morning tranquility before we pack up and head back.
