Dream destination?

I definitely want to see Franz Josef Land and search the coast for waves and adventures!

Inspiration?

I get a lot of inspiration from nature. Textures and details that I discover on the way in or out of the water catch my attention. On the other hand, I like to learn about interesting stories and people and understand how their world moves and works.

What does "travelling" mean to you?

I really like to travel with purpose! As I said, I've always been on the lookout for new stories and new minds. On our travels through West Africa recently for the documentary Beyond, I was reminded of how inspiring and fulfilling a new person can be in your life.

The best experience when travelling?

On one of our recent trips, we tried to discover the surf scenes in the Baltic Sea region where there are supposedly none. We found small communities that shared exactly the same spirit we have for the sea and the raw power of the Baltic Sea. It was really fulfilling when every one of the people we met told us that meeting us somehow changed their perspective and that it gave them a big boost of motivation and happiness.

Plans for the future?

I want to try to continue working on indie film projects and show the world different perspectives.
