Family Camping - Japan Style
Meet our favorite family from Japan. The four of them have been using our tents for a long time and we are always happy to hear from them and accompany them on their travels.
What does a perfect trip look like for you?
キャンピングカーで目的地を決める事なく旅に出て、泊まりたい時に泊まって、移動したい時に移動する。そんな旅が理想です。
We travel in a van without a fixed destination in mind. We stop whenever we want and continue whenever it suits us. This way of traveling is ideal for us. It's the freedom that we like the most - the feeling that adventure is waiting for us around every corner.
Where do you prefer to go camping?
設備の整ったキャンプ場ではなく、景色の綺麗なキャンプ場を選んでキャンプをしています。
We prefer places with beautiful scenery to those with good facilities. The beauty of nature attracts us and we love to wake up surrounded by picturesque views, whether it's by a tranquil lake or in the mountains with their majestic panorama. We have everything we need with us.
What does an ideal family camping adventure look like for you?
車で5から6時間かけて、遠くのキャンプを目指して行く旅が最高です。移動中に、家族で歌を歌ったり、子ども達の話をゆっくり聞いたりしていると、あっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいます。人の少ないキャンプ場で、環境的にも、空間的にも家族だけでゆっくりキャンプが楽しめる。そんなキャンプが一番最高です。
The best trips are the ones where we drive five to six hours by car to a remote campsite. During the drive, we sing songs with the family and listen to the children's stories, and the time flies by. In a place with few people, we can enjoy a relaxed camping experience, just us as a family, both environmentally friendly and spatially. Such camping trips are our ideal experiences, where we can really enjoy the closeness and togetherness.
What do you eat on your excursions?
簡単に作れるものを選んでいます。短時間で料理する為に、家で下準備をしてジップロックに詰めて、キャンプ場では火を通すだけ。簡単な料理が多いです。
I choose dishes that are easy to prepare. To cook in a short time, I prepare the food at home, pack it in a ziplock bag and then just heat it up at the campsite. Often these are simple dishes that still make us feel at home while we eat under the stars.
