Recipe 5: Spiced Turkish coffee

After a good meal, a good coffee is a must!

The ingredients for two people:

  • 2 tablespoons finely ground coffee (for proper Turkish coffee, it must be finer ground than espresso).
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder or ginger powder
  • Water

 

Preparation:


Put all the ingredients in a kettle or saucepan and bring to the boil. Let the coffee foam up, but do not boil over. 

Remove from the heat, leave to cool for 2-3 minutes and then serve in small cups.
