There is a lined 16-inch laptop compartment inside the backpack. The laptop compartment ends a few centimeters above the bottom of the backpack so that the laptop does not hit the ground even if the backpack is shaken. There is a movable zippered pocket above this. This can be placed in front of or behind the closure of the laptop compartment as required. The pocket is ideal if you don't want to stow valuable items such as your wallet or keys in the outer pockets but still need them to hand at all times.

The laptop compartment can be used equally well to accommodate a hydration bladder with up to 2L volume, such as the HydraPak - FORCE 2L. Left and right of the handle at the top of the backpack is Velcro openings whereby the Bladder of the hydration bladder can be guided optionally over the right or left shoulder.

The large front compartment made of stretchable and breathable fabric is a special feature of the MOTION series and offers a new dimension of organization. Even when the backpack is fully loaded, additional equipment can be stored in the stretchable compartment. The breathable fabric makes the front pocket ideal for drying a wet rain jacket, for example, while the interior of the backpack remains untouched by moisture.

The padding of the back and shoulder straps is based on our signature pattern. It consists of a 3D molded EVA foam. The 3D pattern reduces the contact area between the body and the backpack while remaining comfortable.

The Motion Series uses our proprietary Diamond Rip-Stop Melange and DYECOSHELL fabric. These nylon fabrics are not only extra durable but also Dope-Dyed. Dope-dyed fabrics use only a fraction of the water, CO2, energy and chemicals used by conventional fabrics. This replaces the most environmentally damaging process in textile production - dyeing. Unlike the Motion Arc 20L, the Motion Ellipse 25L has compression straps on both sides of the backpack. This ensures that the backpack remains compact even when not fully loaded and nothing swings back and forth in the interior. Through the closures, the straps also offer to fix, for example, a jacket, ski poles or what else you have equipment easily and securely.

Loadlifters help distribute the weight of the backpack more evenly across the body. If a backpack is not adjusted properly and the weight is not distributed well, this can lead to uncomfortable pressure on the shoulders and back. Loadlifters are located on the shoulder straps and can also be conveniently adjusted while the pack is being worn. This brings the weight of the pack closer to the body's center of gravity and keeps the wearer's center of gravity more stable, resulting in an overall more comfortable carrying experience. Loadlifters are especially useful when carrying heavy loads over long distances.

Motion Series backpacks come with a set of chest and waist straps. Both are removable if needed.
