Season Opening 2022

The anticipation was great, among all participants and guests! We were ready for nightly conversations around the campfire, cooking outdoors and discovering a new place - just leaving everyday life behind!

After such a long break, the location should of course be a very special one. So we were able to find the place at the lake near Amt Neuhaus, not far from the Elbe. Surrounded by forests, fields and meadows - directly between Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania - a really perfect place for the Season Opening 2022!

During the Season Opening, we had the perfect conditions to test our tents thoroughly. Wind, rain & sun - there was something of everything.

Our converted MAVERICKS with the stove (which you may also know from our winter camping post ) was also there. Due to its size, it was a perfect "indoor meeting place" when it got a bit damp in between. Our good friend Casey took care of the physical well-being again this year. He conjured up delicious dishes on the open fire and was happy to share his knowledge with all those interested.

For four days we escaped the big city and celebrated the start of this year's camping season. A start we couldn't have imagined better.
