Basecamp - Where are you living right now?

At the moment I live in Konstanz on Lake Constance, with the Alps right behind my door. The perfect starting point for my tours!


Dream destination?

There is no ONE dream destination for me. The world has so many beautiful places to offer, it is extremely difficult to choose one. But at the top of the list are: Iceland, Lapland or the Azores.

Inspiration?

The fact that there are so many beautiful places to explore in this world, meeting inspiring people you would never have met. Your own spirit of discovery always plays a big part in that. Of course, there are also a handful of photographers who inspire me in what they do and how they do it artistically.

What does traveling mean to you?

Traveling and the uncertainty that comes with it triggers a feeling of freedom in me. Every journey has its own special something and always hides new adventures. For me, travel is the kind of life that has to be lived actively, where you have to accept and overcome challenges.


The best experience when traveling?

As here, there is no one "best experience" for me. Every trip has something very special for itself that can't be compared. But the most beautiful moments are the ones where you put the camera away and just live and enjoy the moment. Definitely the night in the tent in Norway under the northern lights was one of my most beautiful moments so far!


Plans for the future?

To use every opportunity to explore the world and get to know new countries in their full glory. There are a lot of great adventures planned again this year. In addition, I am always looking to expand my horizons and learn new things. My dream is, of course, to one day be able to turn my hobby into my profession.
